The vast majority of our clients are now set up for Making Tax Digital through the FCG Accounting software in good time for the submission of your first VAT after 1st April. For most the quarter or month ending 31st March will be the first such opportunity. We are pleased to report a number of our clients have been successfully submitting VAT digitally using the software ahead of the deadline. The first to do so was Mrs Brenda Lampard of Tiveys Farm, Shackerstone. Brenda and her husband, Clifton, together with their son, Tristan, operate a diversified business, arable farming, business lets, biomass boilers and other rental units.
Mrs Lampard said, “the software was easy to use and followed the instructions through the NJT portal to allow me to submit digitally”. The Lampard’s have been users of the software for a number of years, both from their time dairy farming, through to diversification. Management control for the business is incredibly important, working with their consultant, Max Sealy and the team at WhiteAvon to produce accurate information, all of which has become more important since they purchased the farm as sitting tenants two years ago.
